Enjoy private beachfront, a fire pit, and incredible stargazing and sunrise views from the deck. Unplug and relax in this secluded cove, with tall mature trees to provide shade and relaxing ambience. Ideal for families and nature lovers seeking a classic Maine experience.

The space

Our beautiful oceanfront home sits on 5.5 acres with 525 feet of private gravel and mud beachfront on Western Bay Cove. The house is perched on a bluff, offering spectacular views of the bay and the mountains of Acadia. Wake up to beautiful sunrises and enjoy stargazing from the deck.

FIRST LEVEL:

Open-concept living and dining area with direct deck access.

Comfortable leather sofa with power reclining seats.

Dining table seats eight, with two additional seats at the kitchen peninsula.

Full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Full-size refrigerator/freezer

Electric oven and stove

Microwave and dishwasher

Drip carafe and K-cup coffee makers (starter coffee/tea provided)

Reverse Osmosis filtered water at the sink

SECOND LEVEL:

Spacious master bedroom with a king bed and a private balcony with seating for two.

Dedicated workspace with a bar table.

Third bedroom with a twin-over-full bunk bed.

Second full bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Washer and dryer.

OUTDOOR LIVING:

A wood-burning fire pit with seating (starter firewood provided).

A picnic table and Adirondack chairs on the bluff's edge for incredible views.

Guest access

Guests will have full and private access to the entire house and property. This includes:

A private driveway with ample parking for multiple vehicles.

The entire 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home.

A private yard and deck space.

Private stairs leading down to the beach.

A floating dock on the beach, perfect for lounging.

Kayaks are available for guest use. Please note that their use is entirely at your own risk and requires a signed waiver prior to use. Life jackets must be worn at all times.

Other things to note

Seasonal Amenities: Outdoor furniture and kayaks are typically unavailable during the cold months (November to March). A propane grill may be available upon request during this time.

Host Allergy: Please be aware that the host has a severe allergy to pet hair and dander. For medical reason, host is unable to accommodate guests with service animals.

Safety & Accessibility: The stairs to the beach may be steep for some guests. The first-floor king bed is high; a step stool is provided.

Utilities: The home is equipped with modern mini-split heat pumps for air conditioning and primary heat. Electric baseboards serve as a secondary heat source.

Family-Friendly: We provide a complimentary pack-n-play, high chair, and stair gate for your convenience.

Adjoining Property: We own another vacation home next door. The properties can be rented together to accommodate groups of up to 15 guests. Each home maintains its own private driveway, yard, and own 250 feet of beach frontage ( not shared)

Need waiver signed for kayak use. Kayaks are not part of the rental agreement.
