Nautic Bay

Welcome to our beautiful ocean front home. Located 20-25 mins. to downtown Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park Visitor Center. The house sits on 5.5 acres with 525 ft of gravel & mud beach front. We have another vacation home located next to this house. It can be rented together accommodating up to 15 guests. Both homes has its own driveway, parking for multiple vehicles, back yard, & stairs to the beach.

The house sits on a bluff with great views of the Western Bay Cove & the mountains of Acadia. It accommodates 8 guests providing 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the main level. 4th bedroom is accessed via soft stairs to a private loft not visible from the main level.

The first level features a wrap around deck with outdoor seating overlooking the ocean. The deck hugs half of the house. The dining area has direct access to the deck. A fully stocked kitchen. Two full baths. Master bedroom has comfortable king size bed, en-suite bath, & closet. Two other bedrooms has queen size beds and walk in closets. One of bedroom with queen bed offers a nice ocean view. All 3 bedrooms on the main level has smart TV's.

Living room features a comfortable sofa, love seat and a swivel oversized chair to enjoy our giant 86 inch smart TV.

Dining table seats 8. Kitchen is fully stocked. Full size appliances includes fridge / freezer, electric oven / stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, drip carafe & k-cup coffee makers with complimentary start up coffee.

The 4th bedroom / loft is accessed via soft L shaped stairs offering privacy for its occupants at its location. It has twin over twin beds ( 38 inches wide, 75 inches long mattresses each). It offers 360 views of its surrounding via its small windows. Access to the upper twin bed is via safe side steps.

Outdoor living, offers multiple areas. Wrap around deck has outdoor seating. Firewood fed fire pit has 3 twin wooden chairs surrounding it. We provide start up firewood with fire starting materials stored in a small plastic bin close to the pit. Fire pit is perfect for making s'mores and the unique experience of strong heat with crackling sound from the burning wood. Further down towards the beach is another deck for al fresco outdoor dinning. It features a dining table, 6 chairs, and a propane fired grill. Connected to this deck are the stairs leading to the beach where a secured dock sits by the beach with our complimentary kayaks and Adirondack chairs. The steps to the beach are a little steep for most people. The dock is perfect for daytime reading, lounging, and stargazing. If lucky, you will see seagulls peck clams, fly them up in the air and drop them to break and access their meal. Comb the beach and look for washed up treasures. Create wonderful memories with your family and friends!

Oct 27, 2025- we just installed Reverse Osmosis filtration system for the kitchen sink fountain faucet. The water dispenser in the fridge has its own water filtration cartridge.

We have heat pumps that provides AC in the warm months and heating in the cold months. We have electric base board heating system as secondary heat source. We provide startup firewood for the outdoor fire pit.

We have complimentary pack n play and baby high chair.

Guests with service animals are encouraged to notify the host / owner because of severe animal (dander & hair)allergy by one of the owners / host who is closely engaged with maintaining the property. Due to medical reasons we are unable to host any guests with animals.

Outdoor furniture & kayaks are not available during the cold months. Typically from November to March. Propane grill may be available upon request during cold months.

Important Safety Notice – Kayaks/ lifejackets

Please note that any kayaks/lifejackets located on or near the property are not part of the rental agreement and are not an included amenity.

Any use of kayaks is entirely voluntary and at your own risk. Kayaking involves inherent dangers, including injury or drowning. The host does not provide supervision, instruction, safety equipment, or inspection, and assumes no responsibility for kayak use.

By choosing to use the kayaks, you agree to assume all risks and release the host and property owner from any liability, to the fullest extent permitted under Maine law, for any injury, damage, or loss.

Children/minors: The host does not supervise minor use. You are solely responsible for the supervision and safety of all minors, and you assume full responsibility for any injuries involving children.

Guests assume all risks associated with kayaking, including changing tides, currents, and weather conditions. Life jackets must be worn at all times. Kayaking is permitted at your own risk, and the property owner is not liable for accidents, injuries, or lost/damaged equipment. Check local conditions before heading out.

Guests are required to sign a waiver regarding use of kayaks.

We manage 4 vacation homes in downtown Bar Harbor and 3 other ocean front homes. Two more in Trenton, ME and 1 at Mount Desert Island (Village of Somesville).
